"FRIENDLY- GREAT LOCATION" Reviewed 28 November 2011

Stayed for two nights weekend break. Very good location (handy for shops, pubs and sea front).
We had Room 12 which had a sea view double and single bed. The bathroom was smallbut we had plenty of hot water and a good shower. The food including breakfast was very good. After dinner we had coffee or tea and cake in the lounge.(all included in the price). The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Lots of fresh towels each day. Value for money was very good.

"Third visit & loved every day we were there" Reviewed 10 September 2011

Very friendly atmosphere, the quality of food could not be surpassed, especially the cheesecake!

"Highly recommended" Reviewed 5 September 2011

We (three couples) really enjoyed a weekend break here, the food was excellent, hearty English breakfast and five course evening meals. The hotel position is lovely, facing the pier and looking over the sea and the Grand hotel. Our room was a little dated but very comfy. The only drawback is there is no lift, so if your not as fit as you should be, request a first floor room when booking! There is evening entertainment at the hotel.

"Fantastic value- super little hotel!" Reviewed 23 August 2011

Just back from a lovely weekend in Llandudno. Four of us decided to go to the Min-Y- Don because we saw a break advertised at such an amazing price. Although we checked it out on the net and it looked a nice hotel in a really good position- because of the price, if I'm honest we had our doubts and didn't expect too much. In fact we were very pleasantly surprised! Our room had an en suite- small but clean and perfectly fine for what we needed. A comfortable bed, plenty of storage space (and hangers!!) and a wonderful view of the sweeping bay and Victorian town. We have all been lucky enough to have traveled to places with breathtaking views, but on waking very early one morning and watching the sun rise over the sea, you would be a difficult person to please if you were not impressed with that sight. The staff couldn't have been nicer and worked so hard. We laughed constantly and came back home happy and refreshed. Thank you so much for a really pleasant stay. Sue and Graham.
Room Tip: Ask for a sea view. It may not be possible but you may be as lucky as we were!
